05 May 2005: New! Paymate TrustMark for sellers to increase buyer confidence and online sales!
Consumers and businesses can now trade more confidently online by looking for websites that display Paymate's 'TrustMark' logo. 10 Mar 2005: New! Paymate Express TT to receive bank account payments from US buyers!
Australian Sellers can now increase sales with buyers able to pay from their overseas bank accounts in the USA, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore. With no buyer fees and a flat fee of AUD 5.50 for the seller, avoid expensive credit card fees and fraud risk for larger transactions. Learn more.
11 Nov 2004: Paymate Rewards launched!
Clients can earn Reward Points by referring a friend or business associate, who also receives Reward Points for registering with Paymate. Rewards can be redeemed for prepaid accounts.
11 Nov 2004: Increased Limits and Reduced Fees
Standard Account Sellers can receive up to $5,000 per month to cater for increasing sales. Fees have been simplified and reduced for both AUD and USD credit card payments.
30 Jun 2004: Recurring Payments Service Launched
Paymate now offers a Recurring Payment service in response to client requests. Buyers can set up a Recurring Payment option with any Express Payment, via credit card. Payments can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly and normal fees apply. For details, see Recurring Payments.
13 Apr 2004: 'New, Improved' Paymate Express Payment Service
Paymate's popular Express Payment service that buyers can use without registration is now even better! With a 'wizard' approach to making an Express Payment in three simple steps, the page can be pre-filled by sellers with order and buyer data if available. The service is faster and returns transaction results to the seller's nominated URL for more automated processing. These features have been designed in consultation with website developers and providers of shopping cart products and should better meet the needs of our wide range of clients. 13 Apr 2004: Tools to insert Paymate logos into eBay auction listings
eBay sellers can now more easily insert the popular Paymate Express Payment logos into their listings. The new tool allows sellers to generate the required (HTML) code by entering their Paymate username and selecting the (eBay-certified) logo of their choice. The code includes the seller's username so that payment is made correctly by the buyer. For details, click here.

11 Sep 2003:All Sellers are now able to absorb Buyer Fees
Sellers on Paymate can now elect to absorb buyer fees. This feature now applies to ALL sellers. To absorb buyer fees please just log in to your Paymate account and go to change profile and then merchant status. Then tick the absorb buyer fee box. Finally save the changes.
4 Sep 2003: Link Third Party Shopping Cart into Paymate Express
Website merchants can now prepopulate the Paymate Express page with variabledata from a (third party) shopping cart. Please use the instructions below to allow your buyers to pay with Paymate by clicking on a Checkout Button when they are ready to check out after adding all of their items to your shopping cart. Note that Paymate does not provide shopping cart software, you will need to procure this via your website developer. We do not warrant that any or all third party shopping cart software will work with the Paymate interface described here and cannot provide testing facilities or support services to enable you to implement this interface

11 Aug 2003: Make and Accept US Dollar Payments
Buyers can now make payments in US Dollars (as well as Australian) to Australian sellers. This is convenient and easy to understand for overseas buyers, increasing sales for sellers. Sellers will receive Australian dollars, converted and deposited directly into their Australian bank accounts up to four business days later.

Please ensure you never provide your Password to anyone in response to email requests. You will never be asked by Paymate to disclose such information legitimately.
14 Aug 2002: Paymate Express Seller-Link feature
You can now add your Paymate Username to the Paymate Express URL and have your seller email
address automatically inserted into the Paymate Express form for your buyer. When your buyer clicks on a seller-linked
logo then your email address will be locked into the Paymate Express form so that your buyers will always get your
address correct.
For example, say your Paymate Username is birdman1. All you need to do is add
?mid=birdman1 to the Paymate Express URL link.
The correct URL would be:
https://www.paymate.com/PayMate/ExpressPayment?mid=birdman1
Try it yourself by just typing this URL (with YOUR Paymate username replacing birdman1) into the address area of your browser and see how it works for you.
