How to make an Express Payment
You do not need to be registered with Paymate to make a payment with your credit card. However, the recipient or seller MUST be registered with a valid bank account to receive a payment.
- Simply click on the Paymate Express 'Pay Now' logo either on the Paymate Home page or the seller’s website. Then fill in the email address of the person you want to pay and any order reference if useful.
- Then enter your email address, personal and credit card details together with the payment amount. If you have previously registered with Paymate and saved your credit card details, you can simply enter your username and password and select a credit card displayed.
- You can also select the recurring payment option if you wish to make regular payments for an ongoing service.
- Then check the details of the payment and accept our Terms of Use before you click the ‘Submit Payment' button.

Once a you have authorised a payment, Paymate conducts a rigorous risk assessment on the transaction to protect our clients. Paymate will then debit your credit card and send an email to the recipient letting them know the payment is on the way. We will send both of you another email when the funds are deposited into the recipient’s bank account.
NOTE: If the payment is identified as risky by Paymate, we may contact the buyer and seller for more information or simply turn down the transaction - this is for your own protection. We will also turn down the transaction if your bank declines the payment.
